Al Roger Morton, age 81, of Knoxville, formerly of LaFollette passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018.  He was a member of Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church and lifelong member of LaFollette United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Finance Committee and served as Chairman.  Al worked 39 years for Peoples National Bank, now Peoples Bank of the South, serving as loan officer, Executive Vice President, and Board Member.  He was the developer of Cove Norris Development on Norris Lake and owner of several businesses throughout the years. He was also a 1955 graduate of LaFollette High School and member of Campbell County Jaycee’s.   Preceded in death by parents, Ed and Carrie Morton; brothers, Joe, Ed, and Charles Morton
