If you do something right, they’ll tell seven people; if you do something wrong, they’ll tell 11 people, Ronnie Hedrick (in top photo) said this was the something his grandpa told him, and he remembers it to this day.

He calls it the 7-11 rule and practices it daily in his business.

“I want people to be satisfied with our work when they leave,” Hedrick said.

Hedrick opened Ronnie’s Auto Repair in Jacksboro about six years ago. His career as a mechanic began with his uncle when he was in high school. After high school, he trained at the Bell County Vocational School and later worked to become a Master Certified Ford Technician and has 33 years’ experience. When asked why he chose to become a mechanic, Hedrick grinned and said, “I guess it’s just kinda of a family thing.” The shop offers a full array of services including tires, alignment, oil change and automotive repairs.

The shop is open Mon. – Fri., 8 am – 5 pm and Sat. 8-1 and is located on County Lane in Jacksboro.   That’s on the road next to Terry’s Pharmacy at Belle Meade.
