Virginia Whitehead, age 91 of La Follette

Virginia Whitehead, age 91 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 28, 2019. She was a member of Fort Mitchell Baptist Church in Kentucky. She was a loving wife of 68 years, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Virginia also loved to travel the world with her late husband, William.

She is preceded in death by husband William A. Whitehead; parents Virgil and Annie Holmes; sisters Mildred Tidings and Dorothy Gallagher.

She is survived by sons Tom Whitehead & wife Nancy of Plymouth, Minnesota and David Whitehead of Union, Kentucky; daughter Marcie Napier & husband Randy of LaFollette; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 AM – 12 PM Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 12 PM with Rev. Ronnie Poston officiating.
