Dr. Abazid (photo above) specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He is experienced in a wide range of non-invasive imaging studies, including nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Dr. Abazid earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, TN. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, Birmingham, AL. He also completed fellowship training in cardiology at the University of Louisville School Of Medicine, Louisville, KY. Dr. Abazid is board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology and adult echocardiography.
