The boys side of the District 3-AAA Basketball Tournament opens tonight at 7:30 pm at Karns.  The WLAF-B & M TIres Sports Network has all the coverage.  SEE THE BRACKET HERE.   The Cougars are 2 & 26 and lost both regular season meetings to Karns, tonight’s opponent.  The Beavers are 10 & 15 and defeated Campbell at Karns in December 63 to 56 while on Brown Court, Karns won a one point squeaker last month at 68 to 67.

The other game, opening at 6 pm at Karns, features the fifth seeded Clinton Dragons against Halls.  Halls is the 8th seed.

Opening night on Tuesday saw Clinton advance with a 61 to 30 win over host Karns.  The Lady Dragons play Anderson on Thursday at 6pm.  Halls defeated Central 56 to 48 and will play Powell Thursday at 7:30 pm.

The Lady Cougars play on Saturday night at Karns at 7:30 pm.  CCHS will play the winner of Clinton and Anderson County. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/13/2019-6AM)
