A call came in to E-911 at 3:07 pm Wednesday afternoon about a man at Caryville that was thought to either be off his medication or without his meds.  The 38-year old Jacksboro man led law enforcement to believe that he was inside a home on Loop Road at Caryville.   Kevin Norman (in top photo) was threatening to harm himself and any officer who tried to approach him, according to police.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s SWAT Team, at the request of Caryville Police, responded to Loop Road and later learned that Norman wasn’t in the house but out and about mobile.  The home was cleared by authorities and Norman remains at large.  One official said it was learned that Norman and his girfriend were together in a vehicle at last check.

According to jail records, Norman has been booked into the Campbell County Jail 31 times.  His charges over the years range from domestic assault to DUI to driving while revoked to public intoxication.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/06/2019-8PM – UPDATED 03/07/2019-6AM)
