It’s being reported that James Eberharter was taken into custody at a home on Short Street in La Follette after 9 am Monday morning.  Nothing was said about the status of Sheena Baird.The chapters in the story of James Eberharter and Sheena Baird continue being written.  Eberharter has been on the lam since last seen on March 28 of this year driving away recklessly with a reported bloody headed Baird in the front seat of his car.On Saturday night, April 13, around 8 pm, deputies with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at 308 Carr Wynn Road in reference to a theft report in which the suspects were identified as James Eberharter and Sheena Baird.

Witnesses say the pair fled prior to officers arrival in possibly a red car with white bumpers.  Deputies spent much of Saturday night checking possible locations for Eberharter and Baird.

Eberharter is a wanted man. He is out of jail on a $500,000 bond and is wanted on a violation of probation.
