Brittany Robbins was found on Lakewood Road at Jacksboro passed out inside in a vehicle last Friday evening.    When Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy John Minor went to the address, he allegedly found Robbins passed out with her keys on the floor of the vehicle under the brake pedal.

When Minor made contact with Robbins, he noticed  she had blood shot eyes and a smell of marijuana was coming from inside the vehicle. Minor asked for her driver’s license and as Robbins began looking through her purse, the deputy saw a half-smoked cigar filled with a green leafy substance, according to the report. Minor confirmed the substance was marijuana, but Robbins denied it was hers.

At this point, Minor asked the woman how she got to the home on Lakewood Road and she allegedly said she drove there looking for her boyfriend.  When asked when she last smoked marijuana, she allegedly responded it was still light outside.

After performing unsatisfactorily on field sobriety tests, Robbins was arrested.

Robbins, 21, 100 Pleasant Ridge Road, LaFollette is charged with possession of schedule VI-controlled substance and driving under the influence (DUI). (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/18/2019-6AM)
