Vennis Lee Branam, born March 14, 1941, passed away April 25, 2019 at 78 years of age. He was in the Army and became a Sgt. in the Army National Guard.  He was a member of Jellico Highway Church of God and retired from Campbell County School Maintenance Department.  Vennis enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by father Clyde Branam, mother Josephine Branam, and sister Geraldine Branam.

He is survived by wife Karen Sue Branam, daughters Kim Williams & husband John Williams, Sherry Thomas & husband Carl Thomas Jr., son Gary Branam & wife Andrea Branam. Grandchildren Seth Williams, Christie Parrott, Dustin Thomas, and MaKayla Branam.  Great-grandchildren MaKenzie, Maddie, Megan, and McKenna Parrott, and Kylie & Kasen Thomas.  Sisters Pearlene Walden and Martha Ridenour, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Campbell County Honor Guard will be in charge of presentation of the flag and honors at 5 PM Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Harry James officiating.
