LAFOLLETTE, TN  (WLAF) – Gas prices started at $1.89 as 2019 opened.     The price slowly climbed until it topped out at $2.55 a gallon a month ago.  Since, the price has slipped to $2.36 a gallon as of this morning.  One year ago we were paying $2.68 compared to $1.98 over the 2017 Memorial Day Holiday Weekend.  Five years ago, Campbell Countians were shelling out $3.37 a gallon.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/23/2019-6AM)
