JACKSBORO, TN  (WLAF) – “Quiet.  Low key.  Not wanting to attract attention.  That’s how many drug dealers like to operate,” said a La Follette Police Department Investigator.   Thursday morning, La Follette’s Special Response Team and Drug Unit, the 8th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Jacksboro Police and the Tennessee Highway Patrol joined forces around 9:30 am today in a quiet Jacksboro neighborhood.

LPD’s Special Response Team was called in to execute a narcotics search warrant at 310 Eagle Bluff Road.  At the home of Grover Redmon is where more than one-thousand prescription pills, schedule I and III, were seized along with several fire arms.  Police say the 72-year old Redmon does not have a criminal record.
