NASHVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A young man, with plenty of Campbell County family and connections, is recovering this morning at Vanderbilt Hospital at Nashville.    Family members tell WLAF that 20-year old Dakota Goins (TOP PHOTO) successfully came through an intense nine-hour surgery to remove a brain stem tumor on Wednesday.   “The doctors and nurses with the surgery team were giving each other high fives after the procedure described as an extremely  high risk surgery was completed,” Dakota’s uncle, DeWayne Kitts said.
