LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Law Enforcement Officers were recognized at Tuesday’s annual National Night Out at Seargeant’s Park.   Among all many events, officers from each law enforcement agency received a certificate of appreciation for “Officer of the Year.”

Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins (left) accepts CCSO Deputy John Minor’s award on Minor’s behalf.  Minor was on patrol during NNO.  La Follette Mayor Mike Stanfield is on the right.

Jacksboro Police Sergeant Franklin Ayers (left) accepts his award from La Follette Mayor Mike Stanfield (right).

Jellico Police Officer Paul Harmon was not able to attend Tuesday’s event in person to accept his award.

  1. Sgt. Franklin Ayers is a fine young officer and a fine young man! He helped me out once, having nothing to do with law enforecement, just being a kind neighbor! All my best wishes to him.
