Notice of Public Hearing – The City of La Follette. Regular city council meeting is today.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The following Public Hearings will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 5:30 pm, at La Follette City Hall and will proceed with the City Council meeting that is scheduled for this day and time to approve the final passage of ordinance:*  Ordinance 2019-05 Ordinance Amending the Occupational Safety and Health Program Plan, devise rules and regulations, and to provide for a Safety director and the implementation of such program plan.

Several ordinances and resolutions are on the agenda for the regular City of La Follette Council meeting.  The Fire Department has two items; promoting a parttime fire fighter to fulltime and discussing the employment status of another fire fighter.

The Beer Board will meet following the regular council meeting.  A beer permit for Zoyal Market is on the agenda.  Zoyal Market sits between the Mercy Church of God in the East Gate Center and the La Follette Middle School.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/03/2019-6AM)
