One person cut from car; flown to the hospital

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – One person had to be cut out of their wrecked car on Sunday afternoon.

Just outside La Follette around 3:40 pm, the Campbell County Rural Fire Service was dispatched to the 1800 block of Long Hollow Road  in the area of  Old Long Hollow Road and Lewis White Lane.

Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle on its side with one occupant trapped in the vehicle. Crews extricated the patient, and the patient was flown to a Knoxville hospital by a med chopper.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/16/2019-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF CCRFS ASSISTANT CHIEF DANIEL LAWSON)
