STINKING CREEK, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Highway Department Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck invites everyone to attend a special ribbon cutting ceremony celebration to mark the completion of Stinking Creek Road between I-75 and US 25W in Campbell County. The ceremony will be held on Mon., Oct. 7, 2019, beginning at 11 am at Stanfield Church of God on its new property located at 6373 Stinking Creek Road, Pioneer.

The pot holes, broken pavement, faded lines and years of need for paving finally received much needed attention.

Dilbeck said, “We look forward to seeing you, and please note that we have also invited Sen. Ken Yager to join us for our celebration.”   Yager played a key role in helping the long neglected road get repaved.

In March, Dilbeck (left) explained to Yager (right) that there was one curve that was so bad, before the paving, traffic had made a path off the road around it.

Refreshments will be served.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/17/2019-6AM)
