LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Nathaniel Bostic went to 152 College Park Drive, LaFollette on Oct. 23 around 4 pm after a call alleging domestic violence. When Bostic arrived at the residence, Deputy Zack Daugherty was standing outside the home with Jason Scott Strong.

Strong told Daugherty he had been inside painting a door. When Bostic spoke with the victim, she said Strong had called her earlier in the day asking for a ride home from work. The woman said she told Strong no because she had been drinking, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.
Strong did find his way to the home. Later in the day, she and Strong were arguing when he allegedly called her several names. She said he then came over to her and struck her on the left side of the head while she was sitting down. The report notes the victim did have some swelling on the left side of her face as well as some redness.
When Daugherty was attempting to put Strong into the patrol car, he refused to get in. At this point, Daugherty used a knee strike to his leg forcing Strong into the patrol car. Once inside the patrol car, he started to hit the vehicles partition with his head.
Strong, 40, 152 College Park Drive, LaFollette is charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 11/01/2019-6 AM)
