JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On Tuesday, the Campbell County Health Department received the State of Tennessee’s Bright Spot Award for its Hydration Campaign: Bring Tap Back initiative.

The Bright Spot Awards are intended to highlight the  work taking place within the Primary Prevention Plans that are implemented by local county health departments across the state.

The award was presented by the Tennessee Department of Health State Epidemiologist and acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tim Jones (far left).  Charles Turner,  the Director of the Campbell County Health Department, is pictured in the middle holding the award.  State Representative Dennis Powers (far right) congratulated the group for their hard work in achieving the award.
