CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A stolen car was soon recovered early Friday morning. The call came in to E-911 Dispatch just after 6 am Friday that a car had just been taken from the driveway of a Caryville home.A woman told dispatch that she had started her late model Hyundai to warm it up when someone drove it out of her driveway.
About 40-minutes later Caryville Police Officer Jim Wilson spotted the car at Asbury Park. Officer Wilson recovered the car and arrested the supect on Elkins Road.
Arrested was 23-year old Robert Tyler Trippensee of Stinking Creek Road at Pioneer. He is charged with auto burglary, resisting arrest and vandalism over $1,000. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/29/2019-7AM-UPDATED 11/29/2019-8:45AM)
