LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Tuesday’s early morning wintry mix was short lived as the storm system passed through Campbell County fairly quickly.   A sleet storm hit just before 4:30 am on Tuesday and moved on after just a few minutes.

Rain, sleet and snow move out this morning slowly giving-way to a sunny afternoon.  Today’s high heads to 48-degrees as strong wind gusts blow.  Skies will be mostly clear with a low of 33.

Wednesday brings cool sunshine and a high of 51 ahead of a low of 30.  There’ll be more clouds on Thursday with a high near 60 as rain develops late Thursday night.

Spring-like highs in the 60s with periods of rain, heavy rainfall at times, highlight Friday through Saturday night.  Sunday wraps up  the weekend with a sunny day in the lower 60s.  Rain is back in the forecast by Monday.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/07/2020-6AM)
