Katherine Louise (Roberts) Nelson, age 79 of La Follette

Katherine Louise (Roberts) Nelson, age 79 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020.  She was lifelong member of Murrayville Baptist Church.  Katherine enjoyed quilting, puzzles, loved to read, and listen to gospel music.

She is preceded in death by husband: Monroe Nelson, parents: Ed and Azalee (Lemarr) Roberts, brother: Alfred Roberts, and sister: Helen Ford.

She is survived by sons: Greg Nelson & wife Sherry of Clinton, Randall Nelson of LaFollette, daughter: Pam Bean of Clewiston, Florida, brothers: Frank Roberts & wife Diane of LaFollette, Eddie Roberts & Georgia Ann of LaFollette, sister: Pat Lough & husband Roy of LaFollette, grandchildren: Heather Lowman & husband Terry, Tony Franklin, Jessica Lemarr, Abby Newberry, Jill Buckner, Tasha Nelson, and Josh Nelson, great grandchildren: Micaela and Gregory Franklin, Tyler and Bryson Duggan, Ayreona and Billy Cole Buckner, and Alyssa Jones, special niece: Pam Hembree, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Derick Hembree officiating.  Friends and family will meet 11 AM Thursday, January 16th at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 12 PM interment.
