LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – There will be a Wednesday morning traffic pattern that will affect most all drivers.


TDOT (Tennessee Department of Transportation) is shutting down one lane on the northbound side of I-75 at Mile Marker 135 in Campbell County. The shutdown is planned to run from 7am until lunchtime, and northbound travelers will need to plan accordingly.
Drivers will have the option to exit at Rocky Top Exit 129 and take Highway 116 to Caryville and then head north through Jacksboro and La Follette returning to the interstate at Jellico (Exit 160) in an effort to avoid I-75.
Also worth noting is that La Follette is dealing with the Central Avenue Bridge Project. Caryville’s portion of Highway 116 at Little Cove Road is down to one lane with a traffic light. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/29/2020-6 AM)
