LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- On Jan. 26,  Campbell County Sheriff’s  Deputy Anthony Mahar couldn’t read the tag  on truck, due to the tag light being out.

Mahar stopped the vehicle and ran a check of the driver’s license. The check revealed that Jeremy Wayne Holder’s driver’s license was suspended.

Mahar asked Holder  if there was anything illegal in the truck; Holder denied there was.  A search of the truck revealed scales with a white crystal-like substance on it and several small blue bags. Also, found in the driver’s backpack was a glass pipe. Holder was allegedly  showing signs of impairment, according to a report from sheriff’s department. His eyes were glassy, and pupils were dilated. After a series of field sobriety tests, Holder was arrested. He allegedly admitted to Mahar that he had used meth.

Holder, 36, 137 W Catula, Duff is charged with second offense driving under influence  and second offense driving on revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 1/30/2020 6AM)
