This is the look on Cedar Creek Road late last Thursday night that Campbell County Highway Department crews later cleared.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – “We’re back out again this morning,” said Campbell County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck.  More rain and flooding are expected the first half of this new week.  A FLOOD WATCH runs through Tuesday evening.  Dilbeck ran roads on Sunday for about five-hours double-checking what he and his crews did on Thursday through Saturday just to be sure all was OK.

Dilbeck said, “We have some things lined out to do today that we didn’t realize went on Thursday and Friday.”  With regard to today, the Road Super pointed out that, “We’ll just have to wait and see what happens today.  It doesn’t look very promising especially when you look at the radar, because it looks like we’re going to get hit pretty good again later today.”

The bottom line from Dilbeck is “just use caution when you’re out and about.”  Debris, in addition to water over road ways, will also be a major concern this week.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/10/2020-7AM)
