JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – Win or lose in Tuesday night’s District 2-A Tournament Championship, Jellico fans knew their Blue Devils would have, at least, one more game in the 2019-2020 basketball season.  The sudden death season begins for the Blue Devils when the North Greene Huskies, out of Greeneville, visit Lindsay Gym on Saturday night.Jellico and North Greene tip at 7 pm in the quarterfinals of the Region 1-A Tournament.  The winner moves on to the semi-finals of the region with the loser’s season coming to an end.

North Greene is 21 & 11 after defeating Cloudland 50 to 41 on Tuesday night at Gray’s Boone High in the consolation game of the District 1-A Tournament.  Jellico finished as runner-up in the District 2-A championship game played at Cosby on Tuesday night.  Cosby won 79 to 61 leaving the Blue Devils with a 12 & 14 worksheet.
