La Follette man taken into custody in morning drug raid

Members of the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department converged on this Bently Lane home about 9:30 AM Thursday morning.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Deputies with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and the Sheriff’s Special Weapons and Tactics Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 141 Bently Lane in La Follette this morning.

Around 9:30 am is when units converged on the home just off South Avenue in La Follette.  Prior buys by Sheriff’s Investigators of schedule II controlled substances from this location led to the execution of the Thursday morning warrant.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Special Weapons and Tactics Team was activated to secure the location during the execution of the warrant.  Investigators recovered amounts of schedule II (Methamphetamine ), schedule III (Suboxone), schedule IV (Xanax), schedule VI (Marijuana) and drug paraphernalia.

One individual, Aaron Crowley, was taken into custody and charged with possession of schedule II, III and IV controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.  This was the 25th arrest for the 29-year old Crowley according to jail records.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/27/2020-6AM)
