LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two CCYBA championship games were played at the West LaFollette Rec Center on Friday night.

Title Game one featured a showdown between (11 – 0) Jason Freeman’s team taking on the (10 – 1) Ron Williams team in the 5 & 6 year old championship.

Ron Williams’ team consists of:

3 – Harley Graham
4 – Jaxon Owens
7 – Anna Blair
9 – Jaxon Chapman
14 – Addy Surface
30 – William Dorton
32 – Van Rains
36 – Maverick Marlow

Jason Freeman’s players are:
1 – Channing Dotson
5 – Coleman Foust
7 – Ava Wallace
11 – Lindon McKamey
12 – Bentley Freeman
13 – Maddox Freeman
21 – Braxton Adkins
23 – Rylan Berry
24 – Bailey Ball

The Ron Williams team took the big trophy winning 27 – 17 as #30 William “Boo Boo” Dorton led all scorers with 25 big points.  Maverick Marlow #36 had the other two points in the win.  Both teams finished their seasons at 11 – 1.  The Jason Freeman team was led by one of the Freeman twins.  Bently Freeman scored nine points, while his twin brother Maddox chipped in six and Channing Dotson added two.

William “Boo Boo” Dorton’s 25 points were tops for Team Ron Williams, champs of the 5 & 6 year old division.

The night cap game, the 7 & 8 year old championship tilt, took two overtimes to decide a winner.  In the end, it was the Randy Heatherly team coming out on top winning over the Trista Johnson team by a final of 14 – 10.  The Randy Heatherly team was led by Kinden Heatherly’s nine points.  Landyn Wagoner tallied four while Mathew Cook added one point.  The Trista Johnson team was led by Khloe Johnson with eight points followed by two from Aden Moser.

 Kinden Heatherly was the leading scorer in the 7 & 8 year old championship game with nine points.
