LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- A call on Monday about a disturbance sent Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Nathaniel Bostic to Chapman Crest Drive.

Before Bostic could get to the scene the victim left the area and went to residence on Farris Circle.
Bostic went to the residence, finding the victim with a busted lower lip and a mark on her forehead, the report said. The victim told Bostic that Johnny Lewis Kitts showed up at the residence and began beating on the door. She continued that he came into the residence and allegedly asked who was there. At this point, the victim alleged that Kitts took his belt off and struck her in the face with it. The pair allegedly continued to argue down the roadway, until Kitts got into a car on Old Middlesboro Highway and left the area.
Officer Jason Shears found Kitts at a residence on Chestnut Street and arrested him.
