LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Attention coal miners.  Whether you are active or retired, you are encouraged to sign up for your Black Lung benefits.

The sign-up is Friday from 9 am until noon at the West End Rec Center at 300 West Beech Street.

This event, hosted by CHET’s Tennessee Black Lung Program, is federally funded and is no cost to you.  Black Lung testing is free of charge through the Department of Labor.
