LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The breezes and mild temperatures make for a good feel on this Friday.  However, there is a price to pay with these pleasant conditions; showers, thunderstorms and flooding potential.

Locally heavy rainfall and a few thunderstorms are expected on our Friday. This will produce some isolated flooding, especially in poor drainage areas and known flood prone locations.

Temps hold steady in the 60s today before slipping to 47 overnight.  Late Friday night, cooler and drier air will send the rain on its way leaving us with cool 50s on Saturday.  It’ll be partly sunny on Saturday with a high of 56 ahead of a Saturday night low of 39.

Sunday rounds out the weekend with more clouds than sun, a high of 61 and chances of rain.  Rain chances for the first half of Sunday are slight with rain likely by late afternoon.  Expect rain Sunday night and Monday.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/20/2020-6AM)
