LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Many businesses have changed hours due to the Covid-19 virus. Some stores are also designating specific hours for senior shoppers and those that may be more at risk to the virus. Most stores currently open are those listed as essential businesses such as grocery, hardware, pharmacies, medical centers and convenience stores. Most restaurants are remaining open, but are not allowing dine in and have switched to drive through, delivery or curb side pickup. Several pharmacies have switched to drive through only as well.

Food Lion is open seven days a week from 7am to 11 pm The store is located at 1707 East Central Avenue, LaFollette and can be reached at 423-562-3405.

Food City seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm. The pharmacy is open from 9 am to 7 pm. During the Covid-19 virus, senior shopping hours have been designated from 7 am to 8 am daily.  Food City Pharmacy is open Monday, 7 am to 7 pm, with first two hours dedicated for senior citizens and those immunocompromised. Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday 9 am to 3 pm.  Food City is located at 2221 Jacksboro Pike in LaFollette and can be reached at 423-562-2753.

Save-A-Lot is open from 8 am to 6 pm seven days a week. The grocery store has designated the first hour of business for seniors and those at higher risk for the virus. It is located at 2010 Jacksboro Pike in LaFollette and can be reached by calling 423-566-7655.

IGA is open from 7 am to 8 pm seven days a week and has designated 7 am to 8 am as hours for senior shoppers. It is located at 1221 Jacksboro Pike in LaFollette and can be reached at 423-562-3123.

United Grocery Outlet (UGO) is open Monday through Saturday 9 am to 7 pm and from noon to 6 pm on Sundays. It is located at 2616 Jacksboro Pike and can be reached at 423-562-7658.

Hollingsworth Meat Market is open Monday through Thursday from 8 am. to 7 pm and Friday and Saturday 8 am to 8 pm. It is closed on Sunday. It’s located at 407 East Chestnut in LaFollette and can be reached by calling 423-562-2128.

Wal-Mart has changed its hours to 7 am to 8:30 pm seven days a week during the outbreak. The first hour of business on Tuesdays is designated for senior shopping. It is located at 2824 Appalachian Highway in Jacksboro and can be reached at 423-566-5318.

Lindsay’s Carpet & Paint is open 7 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5pm  on Saturdays and is closed on Sunday. It is located at 110 East Central Ave., in LaFollette and can be reached at 423-562-6683.

Big Lots is open 9 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am to 9 pm on Sunday. The first hour of shopping is for seniors. Big Lots is also offering curb-side pickup on online orders. It is located at 2500 Jacksboro Pike and can be reached at 423-562-4463.

Dollar General locations are all closing one hour earlier than usual. Most locations are open 8 am to 9 pm, but some locations like the one in Jacksboro is closing at 8 pm The first hour of shopping is designated for seniors at all locations.

Family Dollar is open from 8 am to 8 pm seven days a week. The first hour is designated for seniors. It is located at 1211 Jacksboro Pike in LaFollette and can be reached at 423-562-1264.

Lowes has slightly reduced its hours and is open Monday through Saturday from 6 am to 8:30 pm and from 6 am to 7 pm on Sunday. It is located at 2444 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette and can be reached at 423-563-6020.

Smith’s Ace Hardware is maintaining its business hours and is open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday, From 7:30 am. to 5:30 pm. on Saturdays and from 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday.
