A La Follette home suffered damage when a tree landed on it around 2 am Thursday morning.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Around 2 am Thursday morning, the predicted storm featuring winds of 60 MPH and higher blew through Campbell County.  As a result, a few trees fell and there were some scattered power outages.

All power was restored by 7 am for LUB customers.

Trees were reported down on a portion of Eagle Bluff Road.  Another tree fell over the Norris Freeway.

One person described the wind as “crazy” for about a good half hour from about 2 am to 2:30 am.  It was a quick moving storm.

At 2am this morning, crews from Campbell County Rural Fire Service responded to a report of a tree on a home in La Follette.  It was unknown if there were any injuries.  However,  upon arrival, crews found  all occupants were safely out of the home with no injuries.
