CHATTANOOGA, TN (WLAF) – It’s been a long, exhausting week for members of the La Follette Utilities Board crew that started their journey last Tuesday at Scott County continuing on to Hamilton County on Wednesday through yesterday.

LUB Lineman Tim Carroll surveys the situation on his and the crew’s final day at Chattanooga on Tuesday.

Scott County suffered power outages from an April 12 storm while the same night an EF-3 tornado packing winds of 136–165 mph ripped through Chattanooga.  After helping in Scott County for a day and night on April 14, the crew left for Chattanooga the next morning.

The LUB crew was treated to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse Tuesday evening and then returned home to Campbell County.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/22/2020-6AM)
