LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Three separate bear sightings have been reported in Campbell County this Sunday morning.

One person called WLAF telling us of a sighting of a good sized bear running through their backyard on Spring View Lane in the Valley View community.  That was at about 10:45 am.

E-911 Dispatch has had two other calls today about a black bear sighting.  The other two were near the Dana Terry Bridge on Highway 116 in the Vasper community, and the other sighting was on Sundown Lane near Cherry Bottom.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) has been contacted and is on the case.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/07/2020-11AM)
