Central Avenue closed tonight for senior walk

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Central Avenue will be closed  on Wednesday evening.

“We’ll begin preparing for the shutdown at 5 pm with the road being totally shut off from traffic at 6 pm for a good half-hour,” said Lafollette Police Capt. Steve Wallen.   Wallen said a Senior Walk is planned for the 2020 graduates and will start at the La Follette United Methodist Church and go to 9th Street and on to the La Follette Library at the bottom of South 9th Street where it will end.
