JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins is proud to announce the graduation of five newly certified patrol deputies.  The deputies attended Walter’s State Regional Law Enforcement Academy where they earned their law enforcement certification.

Deputy Chance Pierce was the recipient of the Tennessee Sheriff’s Association Reward and Deputy Cole West was the recipient of the academy’s Emergency Vehicle Driving Course award for his outstanding driving abilities.

Pierce is a corrections officers, who through hard work and excellent service, earned a promotion through the Sheriff’s Office’s newly implemented continuing education program. This program allows corrections staff members interested in furthering their law enforcement careers to apply for promotion after completing corrections service and displaying an exemplary employment record.

“We are excited to welcome these gentlemen to our department and look forward to the great things they will accomplish. We are equally as excited to offer a continuing education program for our corrections division.
