Mr. Lewis Craton “L. C.” King age 92 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020.  He was a lifelong coal miner and attended Speedwell Freewill Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by Wife, Margie Smith King, Grandchildren, Natasha King and Gary King, Jr., Parents, Joe King and Lucy Blackwell King, four Brothers and four Sisters.

Survivors:  Children, Gary King and wife, Marie, Brenda Burchfield and husband, Tex; Grandchildren, Kayla and Jennifer King, Olivia Harris and husband, Hyrum, and Dewey Burchfield; Great-Granddaughter, Zoe Camille Harris; Sister, Evelyn Parrott.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

  1. I sure enjoyed talking with Mr. King when I visited my mom and dad at the nursing home. He was such a nice man. He will be missed.

  2. L C and I were friends,We talked a lot when I would visit at the nursing home!
    He knew all my family and had stories and memories of mom and dad!
    He loved listening to Cherry Bottoms broadcast,and mentioned Rick Howard often!!
