CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – According to a TBI spokesperson, a death is under investigation in Caryville.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agents with the Drug Investigation Division, working alongside the Eighth Judicial District Drug Task Force, are investigating the circumstances leading to the death of an individual whose body was discovered this morning in the 100 block of Pike Road in Caryville.

At this time, the investigation remains active and ongoing.

Local law enforcement say the initial call of the discovery of the body came in around 11 am on Thursday.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/23/2020-5PM)
