JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – In a release issued by the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday morning:  Becky Aiken, President of the Board of Directors at the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce, today announced that the non-profit organization is searching for a new Executive Director.

According to Ms. Aiken, the responsibilities of the Executive Director are both diverse and extensive. “The successful candidate is a key representative and advocate for business owners and employers. They work to promote and strengthen their communities by building prosperity through a healthy economy and a strong business sector. Must have a proven track record of managing both budgets and personnel,” she explained. “And, this person should be proficient in marketing, attracting and retaining Chamber members and direct the efforts of Campbell County Tourism.” Duties for the Executive Director will include managing company assets, optimizing financial operations, providing leadership to staff, establishing business goals, ensuring tax compliance, advising board of directors on organization

Ms. Aiken said the Board of Directors was seeking a candidate with five-plus years of leadership experience or a proven record of success in non-profit organizations or equivalent business experience.

“The Executive Director position at our Chamber of Commerce is an important one for the growth and prosperity of our community and region,” Ms. Aiken said. “We hope to attract a dynamic person who can lead the Chamber for years to come.”
