JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Investigators with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office were out early on Monday morning executing a narcotics search warrant at a familiar location, 328 Clear Lake Drive.  Sheriff Robbie Goins said, “This is not the first search warrant executed at this residence.”

It’s the home of 41-year old Abraham Wallace.
According to the sheriff, a citizen complaint sparked a months long investigation that resulted in securing the search warrant executed.  Investigators with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and the 8th Judicial Drug Task Force completed undercover buys of Schedule I controlled substances, believed to be heroin, from the home off McDeerman Road near the National Guard Armory.
Though Wallace was not at the home during the execution of the search warrant, investigators did locate drug paraphernalia and Schedule VI controlled substances inside the tan colored house.  The sheriff expects that charges are likely based on the evidence collected and previous buys of narcotics at that address.
“This is not the first search warrant executed at this residence.  We will continue to collect evidence against individuals who sell drugs and continue to prosecute offenders.  Campbell County is not the place to sell illegal drugs and we are committed to making it very difficult for those individuals who try.  Many of our investigations are sparked by citizens speaking up about the activity they see in the community and we encourage citizens to reach out to us through our drug hotline at 423-566-DRUG (3784),” said Sheriff Goins.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/05/2020-10:30AM)
