LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Spay Campbell County Pets (SpayCC) is pleased to announce it has received an $1,100 grant from The Dr. Jane Foundation, the charitable arm of Life’s Abundance, Inc.  These funds will support the SpayCC Happy Pets Low Cost Spay/Neuter Aid Program.

SpayCC Happy Pets Low Cost Spay/Neuter Aid Program helps Campbell County residents obtain affordable spay/neuter services and is open to Campbell County residents with an annual income of $35,000, or less.  SpayCC’s mission is to reduce the number of abandoned, unwanted, cats and dogs in our communities.   The Low-Cost aid program launched in March 2016, and to date, has subsidized over 2,437 low cost services and our discounted program has scheduled over 725 additional low-cost services.   These services have prevented, at the very least, 15,810 unwanted cats and dogs in our communities.

Spay Campbell County Tennessee Pets is a 501c3 Organization.   Its board members/officers has collaborated with other area groups since 2012.  In 2016, SpayCC formed its own group and was awarded its own 501c3 status in March 2016.  SpayCC is an all-volunteer organization with no paid positions, and SpaCC does not have a building or facility.  More information on SpayCC can be found online or on Facebook.
