There were a lot of smiles, thumbs up and waves as the Flag Run ventured through La Follette.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The Flag Run comprised of pick-up trucks, motorcycles, cars and vans lined from the center of town all the way back over the 6th Street hill and beyond.  Upwards of a hundred flag wavers left from Food Lion at 1 pm on Saturday on a ride that looped south of Norris Dam and back to La Follette.

Organizer Johnathon Peavley has been promoting the big Flag Run for a couple of weeks over WLAF and had quite a response.  He said, ” All patriotic flags were welcomed from the U-S Flag to military flags and more.”  There were a lot of Trump flags as well as Confederate flags waving in the breeze as the procession efficiently traveled Central Avenue on its round trip run.

Here’s the photo gallery from along Central Avenue.
