CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) –  Dylan Skyler West, 25, of Caryville was arrested late Saturday night on his third DUI offense.
 According to the police report, Caryville officer Tony Mahar noticed West was driving erratically and stopping in the middle of Main Street several times late Saturday night.
The officer initiated a traffic stop on West and asked him to remain in the car.  Based on the police report, West continued to attempt to get out of the car.  Officer Mahar reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol coming from West when he spoke.  He then asked him to perform several field sobriety tests, which West failed and was placed under arrest and transported to jail.
While inventorying the vehicle to be towed, officers found an open bottle of vodka behind the driver’s seat.  West was charged with his third DUI (driving under the influence) offense.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/28/2020-11:30AM)
