LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Fall is officially here as September transitions to October this week, and well below average temperatures arrive.

The averages, highs and lows-75 and 53-degrees respectively, will be much cooler than usual.

Get set for a rainy Monday and highs in the 70s with breezes.  Late this afternoon, strong to borderline severe storms are possible with damaging winds and heavy rainfall being the main threats over a time frame of 4 pm through 7 pm.

Tuesday will be a wet and chilly day with a high around 60-degrees with a Tuesday night low of 49 expected.

Rain chances diminish in the early hours of Wednesday leaving us with a stretch of really nice weather days.  Wednesday through Sunday bring mostly sunny days and highs in the 60s with lows in the 40s.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/28/2020-6AM)
