Kathleen Taggart was arrested for the 15th time on Monday morning.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Three people who were arrested, along with a person of interest, who remains free, have a combined 48 arrests based on Campbell County Jail records.  It was at 10:30 am on Monday when investigators with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search at a mobile home just outside the La Follette city limits.

Multiple citizen complaints prompted another investigation at the 156 Sawmill Circle home marking the third time a narcotics search warrant has been executed there.  Undercover work over a 90 day span netted multiple drug buys. Meth and heroin were among those buys.

Arrested were Kathleen Taggart and her sons, Kameron Taggart and Kurt Albertelli,  according to officials. Kathleen, 62, was charged with possession of schedule III and VI controlled substances.  Kameron’s, 28, arrest stemmed from possession of schedule I and II (two counts) controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.  Albertelli, 36, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.  Additionally, Albertelli has a prior charge of two counts of exploitation of a minor by electronic means, according to a report from the CCSO and was charged with failing to register as a sex offender.

On Monday, Kurt Albertelli (above) and his brother, Kameron Taggart (below) were taken into custody.

Sheriff’s investigators came across a cache of evidence while inside the home on Monday morning.  Meth, heroin and marijuana were believed to be among the drugs in the stash along with what investigators think are Dextroamphetamine and Buprenorphine.  Drug paraphernalia found included hypodermic needles, digital scales, straws, plastic baggies, aluminum foil and rolling papers.

One sheriff’s official identified the woman in the striped shirt as Joanne Lascola, the homeowner.

The fourth person, who was not arrested, is 63-year- old Joanne Rose Lascola who was identified as the homeowner by investigators.  Ahead of Monday’s raid, Lascola, who has a lengthy arrest record, has charges pending from the alleged sale of scheduled II controlled substances.  That sale was reported to have taken place during a previous undercover drug buy at the mobile home.  One sheriff’s source added that Lascola is awaiting indictments.

Kathleen Taggart is free this morning on a $10,000 signature bond while Kameron Taggart remains housed in the county jail on a $1,500 secure bond.  Albertelli is being held without a bond and is scheduled to be arraigned today in General Sessions Court.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/30/2020-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF THE CCSO)
