Mrs. Janice Ethel Huddleston Powers was born September 23, 1940 and left this world on Thursday, October 8, 2020.  Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone who knew her.  She could take a skein of yarn and make a beautiful creation to rival any ever seen anywhere.  She made the best cornbread ever eaten by anyone.  Janice had a beautiful singing voice which she used to praise her Lord and Savior.  Proverbs 31:10-25 describe Janice perfectly – …”her price is far above rubies – the heart of her husband doeth safely trust in her”.  Janice had a beautiful smile and we know she is smiling and rejoicing in Heaven with those who preceded her in death; her parents, Everett and Evelyn Huddleston, and her brothers, Jackie Henry Huddleston and Andrew Jay Huddleston.  Until we meet again.

Janice leaves behind to mourn her passing her Husband, of 60 years, Delmas Powers; Son, Darrell Powers and wife, Becky; Daughter, Karen Foster and Husband, Jeff; Son, Darren Powers; Daughter, Katrena Reynolds and husband, Mark; Grandchildren, Deanna Powers, Jessi Foster, Cody Foster, Moriah Foster, Darian Powers, Noah Powers, Brantley, Braylen, and Kinsley Reynolds; Great-Grandchildren, Carter and Maggie Ayers; 7 Sisters, Agnes Seibers, Mildred Garrison, Eunice Reynolds, Nancy Green, Gail LeBlanc, Norma Asher, and Rhonda Douglas, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Broyles Cemetery with Janice’s Nephew, Rev. Marvin Seibers and Rev. Ray Graham officiating.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Janice’s honor: c/o Walters Funeral Home, 509 East Central Ave., LaFollette, TN 37766.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Janice Ethel Huddleston Powers.
