Lifestar makes four runs Wednesday evening

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – For a few hours stretch, there was a flurry of emergency calls coming in to the Campbell County E-911 Dispatch Center.  It was non-stop for dispatchers, EMS personnel and the locally based medical helicopter. 

The chopper, Lifestar, made four runs in Campbell County Wednesday evening.  At one time, Lifestar sat on the helipad at the La Follette Medical Center awaiting two patients according to a Lifestar team member. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/15/2020-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
