JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – December’s annual “Shop with a Cop” event begins with fundraising and generous support for over 400 children.  With rain, heavy rain at times, forecast for tomorrow, the “Shop with a Cop” Golf tournament scheduled for Wed., Oct. 28, noon, at The Greens of Deerfield has been postponed until the same time and venue on Wed., Nov. 4th.  There’s still time and room to register your team.

Here’s a look at the 2018 Shop with a Cop event and all the volunteers who helped shop with the youngsters.

Jacksboro Police Chief Jeremy Goins and JPD Det. Sgt. The Four Ball Scramble features awards for first, second and third place finishers.  Longest drive and closest to the pin honors will also be recognized.

Team DYJ Waste Services was one of 19 teams in the Shop with a Cop Golf Tourney last October.

Teams can register by emailing Chief Goins or Detective Sergeant Chapman.  Registration deadline has been extended to Mon., Nov. 2.  It’s $350 for a team., and per hole sponsors are $50.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/27/2020-NOON)
