LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – La Follette Elementary School Principal Bob Walden is out of the office today.  But never fear, his clone is here.

Tiny first grader Hope England swapped her long brown hair for Mr. Walden’s hair and is filling in for him on this Halloween Eve.  Hope is in Kristy Hargis’ room.

Guess we’ll all be staying after school on Monday.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/30/2020-9:30AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF PAM JEFFERS & ASHLEY SPADE)

  1. I love this story!! School should be fun for our children because as we grow up and reflect back on those years there is nothing better than to have fun stories to share with your children to help them learn that even though they have expectations and goals of attendance and good grades these years will be some of the greatest years of their life. Happy Halloween to All!!

  2. Love this! Authority with a measure of humor goes a long way. The students will remember these fun times.

  3. Hope absolutely LOVES Bob Walden!!! She cried when corona virus came and she couldn’t go to school!!! This isn’t her first time being his twin. LES is great and she loves going there. Thanks for everyone enjoying her Halloween Costume!
