“A loud boom” was heard by a couple of neighbors prompting a call to 911 on Halloween night to this Mt. Paran neighborhood.
JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The call of an apparent murder-suicide came in to E-911 Dispatch Saturday night at 8:48 pm sending Campbell County Sheriff’s investigators to a home in the Wheeler Landing neighborhood.  The couple involved are said to be a recently wed man and woman.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office issued this statement just before 11 pm Saturday night:  “Investigators are on scene of a suspected murder-suicide.  Officials are working to notify the family of those involved.  The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available for release at this time.  We ask that the community respect the needs of the family during this difficult time.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all involved.”  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/01/2020-7AM)
